SIBLING

Background of this scholarship:

The Memorial Sibling Scholarship was established in 2015 (the first one was in 2013) in memory of Capt. Matthew Freeman, USMC, and to honor his sisters. As the toll of war has impacted our great country in more ways, suicde from combat trauma has claimed more lives than lost on the battlefield, the importance of creating a scholarship dedicated to this often unrecognized population became apparent.
